Poverty is a term used to characterize the situation of an individual, a group or a society which does not have sufficient resources to satisfy its basic needs and its development.
It has been proven that situations of disability lead to poverty; in turn, poverty is both an important factor in the appearance of impairment and an aggravating factor in situations of disability.
This research program aims to demonstrate a correlation between disability and poverty, to identify processes and actions implemented to improve this situation and the quality of life of people with disabilities.
