A project led by AIFO in partnership with the University of London, University of Whasington and the University of Florence.
This research was developed by a close collaboration between field stakeholders including people with disabilities, families, Disabled People Organisations and researches. It is also one of the first research in CBR using the new framework of « CBR guidelines » proposed by WHO (http://www.who.int/disabilities/cbr/guidelines/en/index.html). This research also developed the related material called « Promoting Empowerment » that is a guide for CBR manager, its purpose is to give information on the way to implement an emancipatory research for evaluation and development of a CBR project.
