çaTED pour tes dents: an applied research on autonomy in hygiene and dental care

The "çATED pour tes dents !" project has been developed to accompany children with autism and the adults around them (professionals and parents) to learn how to brush their teeth and to prepare a visit to the dentist.

From this project, an application called "çaTED" was developped by researchers, engineers and autism professionals to enable people with ASD to gain independence, reassure themselves, know how to organize themselves in space and In time for the accomplishment of everyday activities. This visual and digital use of time makes it possible for children with autism to visualize the day and they can themselves fill, arrange and adapt according to their needs and their own functioning.

"çATED pour tes dents" is a french research but some ressources are available in English :

Several videos were realized during the project (presentation of the research, settings of the application, stories of the participants). The videos are in French but the subtitles are available in English.
